REPUBLICAN LIBERTY CAUCUS
OF TEXAS eNEWSLETTER
IN THIS ISSUE:
*****************************************************
LET
US KNOW IF YOU'RE A DELEGATE
TO
THE TEXAS REPUBLICAN CONVENTION:
http://www.rlctexas.net/events/2002_06_07.htm
Please
let us know if you were elected to be
a
state delegate to the Texas Republican
Convention.
We are tentatively hosting an
RLC
reception during the convention, and
we'd
like for you to join us, so let Don
Zimmerman
or John Reed know that you'll be
there,
their contact information is below. In
addition,
if you can volunteer to dedicate a
little
time at our RLC of Texas Booth at the
State
Convention, please contact us. We
need
your help. We need people at our booth
in
rotating schedules. It's important that we are
able
to interact and meet other like minded
PRO-LIBERTY
Republicans. We have a fun
"Political
Quiz" from the Advocates For Self-
Government;
this short quiz will allow us to
poll
the Republicans that visit our table, and
it
will allow our visitors to find out what kind of
Republican
they are (conservative-Republican,
libertarian-Republican,
liberal-Republican, etc.)
We
also have a large Political map where we
will
place each score in order to get a feel for
the
political leanings of the delegates. It's a fun
exercise.
We need to grow our ranks. We
have
a 16% to 20% constituency out there.
This means
that for every 5 people you
meet,
one of them has the same pro-liberty
beliefs
as you, but we must actively search out
these
Republicans. There is strength in
numbers.
Even if you were not elected to be a
state
delegate, you can still enter the
Convention
as a Booth Worker. We hope that
you
can join us. Thank you.
